This event is $25 per participant and open to the public! Whether you join us as a walker, sponsor, or volunteer, your support plays a vital role in ensuring that youth in foster care receive the resources, advocacy, and opportunities they deserve. The walk is stroller-friendly, wheelchair-accessible, and welcomes well-behaved dogs on a leash, making it an inclusive experience for all. About The Event
Gilliard and Company is dedicated to ending foster care homelessness through housing, education, and advocacy programs. By partnering with the community, we strive to empower young people transitioning from foster care to independent living.
Gilliard and Company invites the community to come together for the Blue Ribbon Walk as part of the Spring Fling hosted by Live Like Locals Savannah and Chatham County Parks and Recreation. The walk will take place on May 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Tom Triplett Park, Pooler, GA.
This impactful event aims to raise awareness and support for foster care youth, bringing together families, advocates, and community members for a day of unity, inspiration, and action. Participants will have the opportunity to join a fun 1.5 mile walk, showing their commitment to empowering young people in foster care.
